Our Story
Tipple's Brewery was founded in 2004 by me, Jason Tipple. I was bored with my career in financial services and decided it was time for a change. So in October 2003 I resigned and then had to find some way to earn a living! Some say I should have done that the other way round...
In September 2004 after lots of research and with a passion for good beer, Tipple's Brewery (and my oldest daughter!) was born..
In 2019, Stuart Robinson and Paul Adams joined the business to provide strategic business and investment support.
Our Ethos
Everything we make is formulated, brewed and distilled from scratch to our own original recipes. We don’t blend or add flavourings to our beers to make new ones nor do we sell the same beer under different names calling it a “special” etc. (you‘d be surprised how common this is!) or buy in ready made alcohol to make our gin, whisky and other spirits.
Where possible we stay true to a traditional method of brewing and distilling, using only malted cereals from Norfolk wherever possible.

Jason Tipple- Brew Master Director

Paul Adams- Financial Director
Paul is semi-retired and spends his time helping to develop local business opportunities in Lincolnshire and Norfolk.
As a dedicated supporter of good beers and lagers, Paul has been pleased to join Jason and the new team to help develop this good quality brewery business.
Stuart Robinson- Sales and Marketing Director
Stuart is a long standing Real Estate property professional having operated in this sector for nearly 40 years.
The opportunity, once tasted, to invest and assist in the growth of the Tipples Brewery brand was to good to miss and with my business partner Paul Adams we hope that you enjoy this premium product.
Stuart has been married to Angela for 33 years over which times she has put up with most things, including Stuarts obsession with Arsenal Football Club. They have one son Dominic, who gets his good looks from his mother!
Alex Earle- Apprentice Brewer
Originally I'm from Kent and moved up to Norwich in 2016 to start studying Psychology at the UEA. Since graduating I decided to stay in Norwich because I loved it so much, and worked in a local pub where i began learning about different beers and spirits and became interested in the production of them.
I joined the Tipples team in April 2021 and am doing my best to learn the secrets of the craft under the guidance of Jason!
